Just want to point out that on the 2.3/2.5 Limas, a leaking oil pump can easily be misdiagnosed as a front crank seal, as that is what I originally thought I had before tearing off the timing cover. Oil pumps on these are "cartridge" style that slide into the front of the block. I documented it 6 years ago here: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/4-cylinder-tech/123829-oil-pump-oil-leak.html
