I have done two harness jobs. One was from a bare bones diagram and spools of wire. It replaced a Lucas harness. It solved all the problems once I replaced the wires and gages. Less than $150 back in the early 80's. The other was a "Painless Harness" that ran about $500 for a 67 Ford Falcon 3 years ago. If I had to do another one I would pay the Painless price. The one I did was to help a friend out that had zero wiring experience.
