Just as a fair warning, the engine blanket will keep your paint from "checking" from all the heat that resides under the hood.

I've removed two of them on previous Fords from the same 90's era and both hoods checked due to the paint basically being cooked. Left it on my 93' Ranger; 24 years later still no checking on it but my 89' white vehicle and my 95' which was black vehicle especially had bad issues with the paint.

And at a later date, you can take advantage of the OEM hood-lights auto on off feature to an extent. I can damn near perform surgery under my hood now. lol
