After reading your past posting and thinking on what is happening... AND never really looking a the mechanism; I was wondering about the Window Guides/Channel/Tracks.
Window Guide/Channel/Tracks = A Channel to align the glass of the door while opening and closing. (LoL) !
Is there a Window Guide on both ends of the glass (front and back) to align the windows when they are being lowered and raised ?
I'm thinking, if these Channels/Tracks/Guides are being forced wider apart, it would cause the window to cock when being raised/closed.
If these channels are there and long enough, can they be secured together, close enough to align the window, using a strip of metal; I would hope that keeping the channels in alignment to the window, it would allow the window to be raised and lowered without the forward tip.

Just thinking out loud,     , not trying to change the subject. 
I need to take one of my doors apart and check out the whole thing that is going on.
