Not meaning to change the subject, but I have like 6 radios now I've removed from the projects I have owned. The 2 that sound the best are the stock mach ford radio and a cheap Dual brand like they sell at walmart. I have like 3 pioneers and a JVC, the dual sounds better no kidding. Maybe it is a high end dual I have no idea. The JVC actually sounds the worst of them all.
The dual sounds a little better than the Mach, but the mach is way louder for an unamplified system. Makes use of those 4 ohm speakers.
Car audio just doesn't sound like it used to, it is 90% aimed toward rap and electronically generated bass lines way below the frequency that a bass was intended to go. Rock is dead but not in my soul.
