Since you aren't there all the time, does it have some kind of security?  Even something as simple as a Ring light in the driveway?  Of course you would have to have WiFi and internet there for that, but just wondering
Yes, we installed & set up a Simply Safe security system.

Dang, Mike... you two really get a  lot accomplished when you're there.  Looks great, and I LOVE that entry way (front door?) floor!  Is that a JennAir downdraft range I see in your kitchen pics?

I took off 3 days around this past weekend (Friday, Monday and Tuesday).  Laid the tile floor, installed new quarter molding, installed the new electric range and dishwasher and assembled the new dining table and chairs (cheap set that fits the decor theme... will find something better quality later).  Funny thing is, Friday morning I had started laying tile and had a bit of it done when I busted my left pointer finger wide open with a rubber mallet (full force hit).  Blood went up the wall I was next to almost reaching the ceiling.  Bled all over everything.  Since I was home alone (wife out of town to stay out of my way) I patched it up, put on a rubber glove and continued to lay the floor, albeit, somewhat slower.  I use a rubber mallet and a smooth block of soft wood to "set" the tiles to ensure contact.  I am SO glad to have this project done!

Thanks Michael. I sliced a finger open many years ago when trimming peel & stick tile in a bathroom. This time someone else is laying the finished floor, my knees can not take it any more.
