Well, let see, I mentioned the .22 Cal Air Rifle.
I have .22 Cal. Break-Barrel, works great when varmint hunting, but I wanted something with a good hard sights on it.
So instead of buying the previously mentioned new Break-Barrel, I went ahead and entered a new realm of Air Rifles... enter the PCP Air Rifle.
PCP stands for "PreCharged Pneumatic" Rifle and they have a slightly faster Pellet Speed, 975 fps.
I purchased a Benjamin Armada, .22 Cal., PCP, Mag Pull Tactical Rifle.   Once I got the Rifle I had to get an Air Tank, all the connecting stuff and they wanted to sell me a Compressor to fill the tank.   A compressor that takes so long to fill just the rifle's air chamber I could have made and drank a cup of coffee, walk to the barn and cleaned up a little... butt the directions say DO NOT leave the compress alone while running... WTF !  Oh ya, if I needed a quick fill compress I could buy one for $1245.00 plus shipping and local taxes, LMFAO !
So instead I go the the local Scuba Shop, $12 buck to fill the tank, takes about three months to run the tank low enough to need to refill the tank...  saves a little there.
The Rifle, the Armada, before any tuning is done on her, using MagPull Flip-up sights, Mag Pull Stock, and Mag Pull Grip... she was hitting low on a target pined to a 2x6, I adjust the sights and got her to be close to the bull's eye.   I attempted to dig out a pellet from the 2x6 without success, most of them were deep in the wood and just smashed to h__l.   I really didn't expect to find any of them intact but I hoped to see one after it hit.
Rabbits don't stand a chance, ground squirrels I am working on, they are so fast and they move  t the littlest of sounds.  The biggest things we have around here are ground hogs, not too sure where that will go, first off I haven't seen one on the property yet and I am not sure how much power is needed to make the kill.
I'm work ing on 50 yards for good hits sometimes I miss a little but most are one pellet one kill situations.
This AM I got a rabbit, off on the aim though, or it moved as I pulled the trigger, I had to hunt the little F'r down, ended it for him but I don't like doing that, need more practice.
Picture is the Armada but I didn't get the scope.

Thanks for listening to an old guy rattle on, turns out his PCP Air Rifle is a great way to cut down on Rabbits and Ground Squirrels population !
Ltr all, Stay Safe !

p.s.   Not sure if I mentioned before, sucks getting old, I purchased a K-Bar, made from D2 Tool Steel, great for Chopping and other things along that line.  Sweet looking knife !
