I ordered the springs 2 weeks ago and the status is still "order received".  I guess they are backed up like everything else related to weapons.

Yesterday's range trip was expensive. It cost me about 12 cents per round for 38 Special when I pressed out the 90 rounds I shot. The 45GAP cost me about 13 cents per round also and I blew through 120 rounds. I also shot 25 rounds of 6.8SPC which cost me about 31 cents per round. I typically shoot 250-350 rounds on a range trip. Of those 200 or so would normally be 9mm.  I have a gallon bucket of 127 grain lead round nose that my brother-in-law cast and coated last summer. I gave him a pound of powder that cost me $22 when I bought it 6 years ago for the gallon of bullets. My guess is that there are 4 to 5 thousand bullets. I am pressing out a 9mm for less than a nickel per round. The 9mm is cheap to shoot. The BIL doesn't shoot 45. I might buy him a cheap 1911 to get him casting 45...

My BIL shoots 9mm, 380, and 300 Blackout. He has a neighbor that is a machinist for the rail road. The RR guy makes their molds and has a chain mold machine he designed that can pump out a lot of bullets. They process one day every month where they cast in the morning and coat the bullets in the afternoon.  My BIL has multiple gallon buckets of cast bullets for his calibers in his workshop. I will get a bucket of 9mm from him once or twice a year for ridiculously low price. I shoot about 90% of his cast bullets in 9mm. Go back 2 years and I shot about 15K of 9mm. I haven't shot 500 rounds this year. I have cut back my shooting to keep it where I am not loosing my shooting skills. With rifle it is a once a year to maintain the skill. Pistol requires more training. I have to go at least every two weeks and blow off 200 rounds just to maintain my skillset. When I blew out my elbow I could not shoot for over a year. It took 4 years before I got back to where I was before the accident. I shot 6 for 6 in a 4" target at 50 yards with the S&W 65 .357 yesterday.  I do not want to loose that skillset.
