Great news guys/gals! I went to Auto zone and put it on an OBD ll reader for the 2and time(the first time I didn't erase the codes)this time I erased all of the codes and re-ran a check and the only code that showed was the number 4 misfire! Which means the spark plug wire is not on all the way in completely! Thank goodness-I was worried that it would be the injectors or the compression and I did not want to get into that. Just for you to know, when I bought this truck the dash speedometer had stopped at 200435k and I drove it for 3 years keeping the oil changed, plugs, wires, etc,,,. Now the back coil was zipped tied onto the motor cause someone had stripped the screws. When I installed the new coils I had drilled and tapped new holes and made sure that they were installed correctly. This is one awesome truck. I went outside a few minutes ago and fooled around with the number 4 plug wire and wah-lah! Purrs like a cat again!. A word to the wise-dont give up on a ford. It may take some time and a little money but they will run forever. I probably have over 300k on this truck and still running strong. Thanks to all who helped me out. Much appreciated!
