Yup, been in contact with Mitutoyo ! They told me to use the model that doesn't fit... funny they would do that. When I went back to them, I was told my set was too old, deal with it ! I was trying to deal with it by going to the factory but... if I didn't own them I wouldn't buy from them again. Brown and Sharpe is was always my go to when working ! Looks like I may have to use a piece of tape with the old cover.
