@Mike, thanks for that bit of info! They mixed the paint with the wrong base, which was semi-gloss as opposed to satin, which is what we always use. The semi-gloss is too shiny for my taste. Wife got back home this morning, so I will discuss this with her when I get home tonight. Looks like I will be painting the kitchen all over again (the cut-in is what takes so much time).
