I may have muddied up the water a bit too! Remember I have only been doing Rangers for a few years now, I always did Explorers, so I am learning too. On this 2000 Ranger gone 2000 v8 (300K truck), the stupid ac plug I only had to modify one wire. It was the 98 Rangers that require all that custom alternator wiring, ac wiring, etc........ so a bunch of the info I gave you was likely pretty confusing. I say this all the time " Every conversion is different" and that is sooooo true.

Many changes to the ranger between 98 and 2000, of course, thanks Ford! If they were simple we would be Chevy dudes....and we are NOT chevy dudes! (even if we fix those too)

On top of what you guys see here there are also many PM's and emails as well as text messages that go back and forth. I help a few dudes with their projects pretty much daily, lucky for me I also have a few dudes I can call when I need help...and the circle is complete.

FYI you are correct the Ranger EVAP (fuel vapor) line indeed connects to your last remaining port! See pics in the 300K thread, I just finished all the underhood wiring and plumbing yesterday
