I have 1/2 spacer under my engine plates to raise my engine up I built a custom trans mount for my setup, there is nothing wrong with leveling the engine in the bay/truck, just watch your U joint angles at ride height (not too extreme) Most of the conversions we do here use the hybrid U joints, one at the front diff input and one at the rear axle input....never had a balance/vibration issue with those Precision or Spicer U joints I prefer without the grease zerk That trans crossmember looks pretty stout The fan is sitting perfectly in that shroud! The clutch alignment tool can also hold up the flywheel. Fun tip, use a piece of BREAD to remove old pilot bearings...ever seen that one? Once you do it that way you will never use anything else
