[font="Guardian Text Egyptian ACBJ Web", Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif]Marshall B. Lloyd v. Ford Motor Co., filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan this week, accuses the automaker of knowingly installing a mileage cheat device and misrepresenting fuel economy ratings in 2019 Ford Ranger trucks, according to a news release from Hagens Berman, a nationwide law firm that specializes in class-action suits.
[font="Guardian Text Egyptian ACBJ Web", Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif]The emissions-cheating device also is likely installed in F-150 series trucks and possibly all other Ford vehicles, the firm said in the release.
