I went ahead and installed the KYB shocks with the new Mevotech TTX stuff, using grade 8 hardware for the shocks. My dust seals are not here yet so I had to throw it all together bolts loose to move the truck for access to my garage. The truck sits about an inch higher. (?). Didn't expect that, I really wonder why. Probably the shocks. I'm going to crank the torsion bars before taking it for the alignment, I really want to start doing alignments because you could not tell right now that it has a fresh front end. The "guess" positions I put everything in looks straighter than it did before I took it apart. I'll throw the seals in there when I get them and be one step closer to getting that particular project going.
