I had a 2k box of 10mm/40 cal 200 gr hollow point bullets show up today. I ordered these back in May and had forgotten about them. Since I ordered them I have loaded up every 10mm case I had with 135gr frangable bullets. They will be heavily used at the range in the next few range trips.

I now have 500 Starline cases on order. I would order more but they are a bit expensive. If I am going to buy brass I might as well buy the good stuff. I am also going big with the powder. I am splurging going with the high dollar Vitavuori powder as I can get 1300 fps on the 200 gr bullets with that powder. It will probably be lower fps for a consistent load but the potential is there. I would like to get a 1200-1250 fps accurate load. I am going to have almost 65 cents per round invested in the first 500 bullets. It will drop to 40 cents per round with subsequent reloading but these are self defense rounds. They go for over a dollar a round from the factory if you can find it.

These should be more powerful than a 45 ACP+p, 45GAP, and in-line with 41 Magnum power. If I could afford a 44 Automag the 10mm would still be my choice because of the firepower.
