It was no dream. I have a smaller relay board I am going to use for iteration 2 of your mod, but with time delay also.

While my modded truck was in the garage, I reached through the passenger door and started it, let it run for 10 minutes to charge the battery. I reached through the passenger door and flipped the key off. The accessory power stayed on (you warned me) and it drained the battery. My charger will not pick up from zero volts so I had to jump it first to get a charge enough for my charger to take over. It was like zero degrees outside.

So I'm going to make it turn off with the signal to the dome light OR a set timer.... whichever comes first. Of course I have had this planned for 2 years and in my usual fashion it is not done yet.
