NO it wont hurt it, good thinking There is a little orange rubber fitting on the end of your return fuel line in the tank, it is there to try and hold fuel line pressure Do not put too much pressure to it or you may blow that sucker off of there, just a few psi should do it just to ensure there are no blockages!
