If you are not changing rotors I would go semi-metallic or the kevlar organic if it is available if I didn't know what was comimg off. With new rotors I will go with ceramic. I don't want the drilled and slotted rotors unless they are OEM replacements. Drilled and slotted rotors will eat up any pads and for street driving as they are overkill. I am not street racing and I have a pressure washer to clean the wheels. Ceramic pads will tend to run a bit hotter. The rotors/pads will need to be broken in. Ceramic is also more prone to warp rotors with heavy braking. If I am not having any rotor vibrations I tend to change pads early.
