That's right!! they need some notching to fit correctly
Each time this comes up I am reminded of the work needed to fit the TMH to different heads
I took some small chunks out of our ATK engine/heads to clear the TMH conversion headers, I believe the notch was needed on the drivers side where the two piece port for cyl 5 goes together
Everything else cleared even with tall aluminum valve covers and a 1" intake spacer
