He was mildly into guns and was not happy with a big dollar suppressor he got for a 22LR pistol. He is an engineer (GA Tech ME) and got outsourced from the company he has worked at the past 15 years back in March. He had been looking to starting his own business and with the layoff payment he made it happen. His plans are custom gun upgrades, mill work, CNC work, etching, silencers, and custom full builds (he wants to eventually make his own 1911 and AR brand). His big holdup right now is the backlog of FFL licensing. He can't ship a gun so he is locked down to local work that has to be delivered and picked up in person. His part-time help mostly have 40 hour a week jobs and are moonlighting until things get big enough they can quit their day jobs.
