yes I see what you guys are saying, the dudes at Ford know their stuff better than I.....but as a long time Bronco II owner and driver I can speak that it was a mistake then, it is a mistake now.

If the top does not come off it is not really a bronco! instead it is just marketing......

Now having said that I love my little BII no matter what they called it!!
This truck could have been called the "pinto 4x4" and I would still have fallen in love with driving it and its off road capabilities....t
