You should do a fuel rqail pressure test 02 ranger should be 64-68 psi bosch blue top (Motorcraft will probably come with a bosch pump) Or Walbro NO OTHER PUMP ON THE MARKET is worth installing IMHO With the amount of work involved in raising your bed (or dropping the tank) do not skimp!! You need to replace pump, strainer AND fuel filter....recent or not https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2002,ranger,4.0l+v6,1438308,fuel+&+air,fuel+pump,6256 https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2002,ranger,4.0l+v6,1438308,fuel+&+air,fuel+pump+strainer,6212 https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2002,ranger,4.0l+v6,1438308,fuel+&+air,fuel+filter,6200 Make sure you check and see if your fuel filter has 2 or 3 fittings I would run Bosch blue pump, bosch strainer and wix fuel filter....well under $100 from Rockauto.com Discount code to get 5% more off: [font="Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]144573791126698414 [font="Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Careful ordering anything from Ebay or amazon, many times you can get counterfeit bosch pumps there...........
