Didn't have any brake clean, AW used it all. Thought about CLP, but didn't want to make the trip to find some and I HATE the smell of Hoppes. WD actually works pretty good in a pinch. The spray lithium is very thin... not the pasty stuff like my dad always had around (LubriPlate). We have a butt load of bore brushes so the barrel is spic n span. I always shoot CCI or Winchester SuperX. I used to buy Thunderbolt back 10 years ago when it was the cheapest you could find and I would take AW out to shoot (he was 10 or so at the time) and he would burn through 500 - 600 rounds every time I took him. Obviously, the gun was dirty or dry, as it hadn't seen much action since AW started collecting every gun he could find LOL. It's a fun little pistol that is relatively cheap to shoot... can't hit the side of a barn with it though (seriously low and left). If changing the recoil spring and guide rod back to the original fixes the lock-on-last-round issue, I'm planning on swapping it for something else.
