Yesterday (June 29th) I had a set of sights added to my 22 cal. Pellet Gun.
They don't make sights for this gun so the guy that helped me out did a great job.
After about 25 shots to get it close to aim point which is hard on a windy day with pellets, I went out and got two rabbits, one shot each, and then one more but I had to finish the job with another close up shot; not too bad !

Today I shot at three Rabbits and only managed to scare them off !

My dog, has taken a turn for the worse, she is a 10 pound, 16yo, Min-Pin, but she always thought she was a full size Pincher.    We will see tomorrow how she is, and look at the options.

Losing a Dog sucks, no matter how big they are.

Well, lets see, the little dog has come back to life, didn't expect it though, she is 16 yo.

The sights on the Pellet Rifle, well the JB Weld Job my friend did didn't hold for  , the front sights popped off after 25 shots...  I heard Pellet Rifles are hard on sights and scopes.  I took a look at the front sights, ok, no prep work done before adding the JB Weld, although we drilled an alignment hole there was no pinion the hole.

I didn't have the exact pin that the other guy drilled for so I had to redrill the hole for my pin, no biggy, took a rough file and carefully roughed up the area under and the front sight underside, so the KJB Weld will have something to hold on to.   Went to Lowes, got some new JB Weld, mixed itup and reattached the Front Sights.

I set the sights with the a small screw and slipped in the pin with a little JB on it, used enough of the JB Weld so I had a little clean up but not too bad and the small screw picked up some too.  Clamped the Sights and barrel together with a little more of the JB coming out around it, cleaned that up and let it set for four hours. (30 minute JB Weld)

First shots after the repair resulted in a few misses but once I got my   together Wham Ban, one shot wonder.
I still need to redo the rear sights, and sight the Rifle in for the new sights but I think I've got it, finally, Iron Sights on the Bone Collector.

T-Square,
You mentioned re-loading ammo, but its not for me.
I am still trying to complete so many new projects I can't even think of something new and once I get the Forge running I want to spend more time making little artistic things.
