The range I usually go to had a year long renovation and re-opened last year. The berm design was flawed and had to be re-built. They closed June 1 and expect to open by September 1. The pistol berm was worse than the rifle berm. In less than a year half of the berm was shot away.

There are too many first time gun owners at the indoor ranges here in the ATL. The last three times I have been to an indoor range I have been swept or deputy dumbass shot himself in the leg. It was a rookie cop that bumped the trigger as he was holstering his gun.
