I'm finally trying to start my build, and I think I found the perfect candidate. From the TWO fricken pictures he's got, the body seems to be in decent shape, I'm not too worried worried about paint. My main thing is I don't want it rusted to pieces, but again from the 2 pictures I can't see any but it's also hard to tell. The body looks straight though. He's asking $600 for it, he dropped from $1,000 this week. I'm thinking either continue waiting or make an offer, but 600 seems pretty steep considering there's no title, no keys, and it doesn't run. I'm wondering what you guys think and how I should justify my offer. Here she is in her sleeping beauty

Here's the ad he posted:

I've asked him for the vin at least, that way I can run it through the stolen vehicle database and another vin decoder website, and possibly the dmv site to see when it was last registered. He said he was out of town, my guess is he's got some property with the truck on it and wants it gone. If y'all think it's a waste of time, feel free to let me know. I really only need the body, the engine is going to be scrapped or sold to a junkyard for either a core for another motor or just for straight cash (probably $20 lol) along with the trans and axle.
