transmission is a full rebuild, not reman All current Sonnax upgrades installed, 98-01 solenoid and wiring pack, all new hard and soft parts, new /latest converter (stock stall) Brett modified valve body to remove lazy factory shift settings and firm up the 1-2 shift. Nothing crazy here, just a good solid rebuild with a few "tricks" to eliminate the factory weak spots. Brett is a good friend of mine, he and I have been wrenching on these trucks together for 20+ years now, we figured out much of this conversion stuff together. Brett took it upon himself many years ago to start rebuilding our auto transmissions himself. After doing many many transmissions over the years (like learning the A4LD and 5r55e inside and out) he has basically set himself up with a complete trans shop at his house. He has gotten so good at this that he is in high demand for Ford and Chevy transmission builds. Brett is the transmission/v drive technician for a Baja race team that races million dollar trophy truck in Baja twice a year. So he started a business and took it all legit, HPP is the result. You want something built, painted, repaired, customized, or wired PROPERLY then Brett is your guy...but you gotta get on the waiting list as he does this on the side, just like the rest of us he also has a real job.
