@Garfield: Sorry buddy, somehow missed your post. So you mostly go for Fender style guitars or??? Most I ever had at one time was 6... and the wife (the first one) was constantly bitching about me having "WAAAYY too many". Wife number two would say "you should buy yourself another guitar, sweetie". LOL I really enjoyed buying old Les Paul copies and rebuilding them. Ah, but that was long, long ago...
I have an Epiphone Les Paul standard that I like a lot too, I upgraded all the electronics and hardware and it plays quite nicely. But at heart I'm a Strat guy.
The nicest guitar I have ever played was a 70s Greco Les Paul copy however... could not get the guy to sell but damn it was like butter.
