Except for our taste for Ford Vehicles !    I almost purchased a Gladiator Overland too, great ride, nice size, backseat... not my style but it would come in handy with the Grandkids, BUT as always with me, they wanted way too much !

I have test drove the Gladiator Rubicon. Leather seats in a Jeep are a bit over the top. It was a test vehicle on a closed off-road course that was easily handled by the Rubicon. The on road test was a Sport S with all the options.  It was impressive but it needs more power to only get 15mpg. If Jeep offered the turbo 4 that is in the Wrangler I would be more interested.  Decked out with what I would like on it puts it in the middle $40's for a Sport S, add $4k for Overland which is desirable just for the different wheel and color choices.

If I was buying new, the incentives for the F-250 have it priced below F-150 pricing. A F-250 XLT extended cab with the 7.3L, and electronic lock rear for a F-150 XLT 5.0 and electronic lock rear price would have me looking very hard.

What looks really good is my 04 XLT Ranger that is paid off and it has had the standard "fixes" for my model with it's mileage.
