My thinking is leaning to having the dealer fix due to the 2 year warranty. I was wondering if it was possible to replace the thermostat without removing the housings halfs from the hoses. Just a bit concerned about the old hoses re-sealing on new housing. Was really a bit disappointed in the Hayes / Chilton manuals (they are almost identical) in terms of lacking detail.
