My 2011 Ranger came with a spray in bedliner.  The screws that hold the panel / cover on the back of the tailgate are very large raised mushroom head screws which are NOT original equipment.  Refer to the attached photo(s).  There are eight of them.  The only thing that I can think of is that they were intended to be used with a set of loading ramps that were not included with my truck.  The loading ramps would have a "keyslot" that would allow the "hole" part of the "keyslot" to drop over the heads and then slide to the bottom of the "slot" part of the "keyslot" and then be locked in place.  I have asked at a couple of dealers and none have ever seen these kinds of screws.  Wondering if anyone can confirm that these screws were part of a loading ramp system and if so what brand / model?  If not what is their purpose?  Thanks in advance for your help!
