Thanks guys. They called again and postponed the on-site mechanical skills assessment till Wednesday.
They have a machine strangely enough called the "Do nothing machine" they use for the test, it is not working.
I asked them "Would you like me to come up and fix it?"
Perhaps they do need help if they can't get a machine that does nothing to work.

I'm actually excited. I never really liked the "tractor pull" industry, saw it as a lot of wasted money for a 300 foot race with a prize less than the cost of running the race. I liked programming and designing but didn't like what it was for. I actually tried to leave 3 times, twice I got hired by 2 other places and was roped in to staying by higher positions and money. Then they got rid of me what an insult but I understand.

Machine diagnostics is me, be it a Ranger machine or an overwrapper/filler machine and I did work in a packaging facility once before. I'm looking forward to the interview and who knows what will happen if I get my foot in the door.

Thanks again guys
