the shifter bushings in the M5OD are nylon rings the actual shifter arm rests on....they are like $12 and take about 15 minutes to install right through the shifter boot You remove the 3 torx bolts holding shifter down, press a metal pin out with pliers, remove upper bushing, shifter arm, metal washer and lower bushing....replace The shifter will get really sloppy and hard to find the correct gear with worn bushings... ![]() Any 5 speed I use in any build gets new bushings for the shifter arm, you would not believe the difference it can make
