I've seen much worse bumper mounts. It is rotted starting after the shackle mount holes on the inside. Both holes for the bumper are there and in tact. I even found a timing belt cover I had one left over from the first green truck I bought. Wish I would have had the brains to save the exhaust the pumpkin could use an entire exhaust. Looks like he tried to fix it by welding fence posts in. It isn't loud but is so back yard and crooked. In case anybody doesn't know the original chapter, about 6 years ago I bought a 2000 Ranger (dubbed gherkin) green short cab short bed 2wd for this V8 swap I've been working on since. It was born with a 2.5, the owner put a head gasket on it and it locked up a couple miles after. It was partially disassembled, but had been maintained except for the smoked out interior. Was his wifes truck.
