It cost me just shy of $150 to get my permit. Fee to state for background check and the license, separate fee to fingerprint verification service, and finally, $50 to the county sheriff (and all they do is take your money... no paperwork at all). All that just so I can exercise my 2nd amendment rights... I the past, I never felt I needed to carry. The world is fast becoming a VERY dangerous place. So my son carries, I carry, and my wife is going to get her permit when CoronaBS lightens up. On July 1st., Indiana is supposed to drop the State and fingerprint fee requirement, so it will be less expensive after that. I think Constitutional Carry should be across the board.
