Where is the F-150, small Diesel, getting 35 mpg, what's wrong with Ford... and right now Diesel is $2/gal !
Ford has the F-150 with the V6 diesel. It is only available in the Lariat or fleet vehicles on a 10 or more purchase order. No discounts and a premium price tag attached with a very limited number produced.  Good luck finding one at a dealership.

Dodge has their half ton diesel as well. It is being produced in higher numbers as you can find them on the lots. I know of two people with the Dodge diesels. One is a contractor that works his truck hard. Both have nothing but praise for their diesels.

A friend of mine has the Dodge 3.9L V6 Diesel...  he  gets a variable mpg of 29 - 33... now that is what should be happening.

I am surprised Ford never offered the F150 at a more reasonable price and with an mpg of at least 30 mpg, seeing they always want to better the competition.

I'm guessing Ford does what Ford wants not the public, accept what they sell or... forget about it !

I have been a Ford guy since I was in my early twenties, a few older for car and trucks when I first to my license, but always Ford stuff, I really wanted the new Ranger to be "The One" but obviously it ANI'T gonna happen.
Then I mistakenly thought the F-150 would fit, yes it does but I want the F-150 Limited in Race Red... $65,000.00 was the lowest price I could find... that ain't happening either.
Ford has gone from a People's Car/Truck Manufacturer to a money grubber; too bad for for the common people !
