Kimber makes a pretty gun. Back when ownership changed they also changed their internal parts process which resulted in less than perfect MIM internal parts. It took them about 2 years to straiten that out but diehards still swap out the internal with the Wilson Combat parts which are also MIM produced.

I have considered getting a Micro-9 but talk myself out of it as the weight of a loaded Micro-9 is about the same as a full size Glock. Gun size is unimportant to me.
