Was thinking "other projects" but it does apply to RBV's exclusively, members projects are for entire vehicles... so here I am in electrical! Anyhow I'm waiting on mill time (machine is used daily) to cut the circuit board but aside from that and assembly everything is in. Project purpose: to be able to illuminate EVERY light on an instrument cluster on a test bench, to determine which LED's work the best in different positions. First the hardware: ![]() And the box: ![]() And the circuit board (switches mount to this): ![]() The wiring will allow both positive and negative switching depending on which light needs what. Quick glance looks like the illumination lights are grounded with positive trigger and most of the rest are positive with negative trigger but I have 2 EVTM's to work from so in the end I'll make sure it is right. There will be one switch per light except the illumination which is in banks. Stay tuned for progress, next step is wasting a hand full of $22 miniature carbide end mills to carve the copper away.
