That car was super fast, dual wankle rotors = 6 combustion chambers and a turbo made 179 HP and 182 fl lbs of torque rev to 6500, car weighed 2700#
With some waste gate and turbo mods that car was really really fast for what it was.
I loved learning about the wankle rotary, I always thought that was a great design, works really well in prop driven airplanes
Interesting stuff about mercedes! There is some great tech making its way into our newest automobiles.
I am a big fan of the cvt transmissions, just like all our snowmobiles and atv's (except honda) they all use the old cvt keeps the engine in the power band with no gears!!
