![]() Well. The brakes are done on the 8.8 Explorer axle. ![]() I will say, I have never been so excited to be able to STOP! I can lock up all 4 tires now. No issue. Went offroading for the first time on Saturday with the new 5.13 gears. HOLY COW. I can climb some of the super steep hills, barely any throttle, and make it through sugar sand like an absolute boss. Also, it is confirmed. Both tires do spin. Had to dump the clutch through super soft and lose sand, and I threw 25 foot rooster tails behind me. From both spinning tires. Covered my buddy's Dakota. Went to mount up the James Duff traction bars... They don't work with the new u-bolts for the 8.8 31 spline. So I am going to get a set of mounts made from my buddies CNC shop. I will update when I get them mounted. ![]()
