The standard shocks should be fine. I replaced mine with KYB Excel-G shocks a year ago and it made a huge difference in the ride and handling. Would expensive Bilsteins be better? Not sure, but I doubt it, since my truck only sees asphalt and concrete.
Same here with the exception of my jobs parking out which is paved roadway with gravel spots. I found some on rockauto for I think $15 a piece and yeah I know I'll get what I pay for but since I'm not doing anything extreme right now they'll do
Edit: just looked at them again after posting this reply and they are $12 each and they are Gabriel 61623 and 61629
