I get 280 miles to a tank. I drive highway to work and it has stop lights then on the way home I take the interstate because it's less hassle and faster cuz I'm not dealing with stop lights and slow drivers. I'll put it like this: I fill up Sunday full tank. By Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning I have to fill up again then by Friday evening I'll have to fill up again. I'm not running it to empty either I'll get to about half way between Empty and a quarter and fill up
The 280 miles to a tank is relative to the configuration of the truck. I have a standard cab step-side that is supposed to have a 16 gallon tank. An extended cab or LWB bed will have a larger tank.
When the fuel light comes on I can get about 14.1 gallons to a fill. I usually fill when it drops below the 1/4 hash mark and the most I have ever put in it was 14.9 gallons with the fuel needle below the bottom hash mark. It gets about 12.5-13 gallons for city driving going about 240 miles providing I don't put my foot in it. I have gotten 23mpg on a few trips but my highway mileage is usually 20 to 21 MPG. About 90 to 95% of my driving is city driving.
