410customs wrote:well done! So! Few things! When we pulled the axle, my father and boyfriend cut the explorer e-brake cable. (I know. Stupid, so it is useless. I tried to say no but it was 90 degrees and we were frustrated). The brake master works fine! We got the brakes to work! The brake lines from the Explorer to my 2005 had different fittings. Because we tried to use Explorer ones, they didn't work. They were a 2 into 1 fitting, the Ranger are 1 into 2. So my boyfriend used the explorer front brake lines to make it work. (I will ask him tonight what he did and how he did it. I wasn't there for when he did it) It is rolling and driving! I have been driving it to work the past few days. The slotted and drilled rotors, and new calipers, will be here today from FedEx. (Thank you summit!!) I will share pics when I have those onto the new axle. ![]()
