Nobody knows anything for certain, but common sense says to me that more people will get infected without lockdown and social distancing.

If more people get infected, more people will die of the diseases caused or exacerbated by the virus.

Political balancing act - save lives or save the economy.

While the USA seems to be screaming to open up, the UK & European countries are worried about building confidence so that people will actually return to work.

One thing seems pretty certain though, the tourism industry and airlines are in for a bad time.
