15-20000 from a detroit axle bearing is about twice what I would expect.... I had some making noise just weeks after installing! $95 for two bearings shipped was too good to be true! How the heck did I score these motorcraft bearings for $88 each? I must have caught them on closeout...I do not remember reading about "service design" when I ordered them. I picked them up because of the price. The timkens are $99 each right now on Rockauto I would probably choose those Timken Sp450200 I searched for 2001 Explorer 5.0 AWD....not that it really matters Im checking my "rockauto close out parts" emails to see if any bearings in there.....
