@MdubG: Probably not your problem, but remember, the check gauge light will come on if the fuel is critically low.
well I have just under 3/4 quarters of a tank of gas although my truck has been sitting for quite awhile and the gas wasn't something I thought about until the trucks engine was almost back together. It is running lean and that might have something to do with it
