yes things have changed, some of the Timken bearings are now coming "MADE IN CHINA" no idea if the quality has suffered, time will tell
I recently purchased two motorcraft bearings from RA for $88 each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that is money well spent...

SKF is also a good bearing just FYI
