We had a previous wheel bearing topic where it was determined that Timken was the best for the 4WD front hubs. I think that was a while ago, I noticed that Rock Auto carries SKF also which in bearings alone is equal to Timken if not better on some types of bearings but I don't know about specifically ranger 4wd front bearings. Has there been any more studies on longevity with these units and has anything changed?
