My mom and dad were both registered Democrat. When I turned 18, I had to declare one party or the other in order to register to vote. I chose Democrat because that is what my parents were, but I am certainly NOT a Democrat. But Democrats were different back then. Over the years (and particularly in the last 4), they have lost their ever-lovin' minds. Sorry if I offend anyone here but that is how I view it. It should be said that I also am not a Republican. I have NEVER voted a straight ticket in my life, and certainly won't in the future. Okay, I've probably already said too much...
